The Holy Spirit Gives Assurance

In Romans 8:14 it says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

The Holy Spirit helps Christians understand verses in the Bible they wouldn't have understood if they were still unsaved. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit helps Christians to do what the Bible says to do and not do what it says not to do while they follow Jesus (For an example of how to follow Jesus, see chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com). The Holy Spirit will urge and give Christians thoughts to do things such as witness to this person or that person. When these people become saved or think about becoming saved, Christians will know that they were led by the Spirit of God and are a son of God. Some other examples are when the Holy Spirit gives them thoughts and urges them to give money to someone in need, and they get back on their feet as a result. The Holy Spirit could also lead Christians to become someone's friend who isn't saved, and they later get saved because they saw how much Jesus changed their life for the better.

If you have prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, but the Holy Spirit hasn't helped you in these ways, please make sure you are saved - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven

If you have not prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, please follow chapter 41 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com
