For Wednesday evening services, the Lord has lead me to do a Bible study for practical Bible verses in Romans. Please come back to these Bible lessons in order to review them and learn them. Whenever we have learned the meaning of Bible verses and think about them throughout each day, we will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Not only that, but when we are in a situation in our daily lives and are tempted to sin, we can think back to what we have learned from the Bible and say to ourselves, "The Bible says to not do what I am tempted to say, think, do, and/or desire right now, so I am going to refuse to give in to this temptation." This is what Romans 12:2 means, and it says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This is also the pattern that Jesus used when the devil tempted Him to sin in Matthew 4:1-11.

Romans 6:1-2
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
It seems many who have prayed or made decisions to become Christians believe they can continually sin on purpose and God's fine with it, because He already forgave their sins and saved them by grace. These people need to realize that they're probably mislead about their assurance of their salvation. Hebrew 10:26-29 warns, "26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
That kind of unbroken sin in Christians' lives should be dead (Romans 6:2). Instead, an unbroken pattern of righteousness (For an example of this, see chapter 39 of the pdf file book featured at the website - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) should be the result in Christians' lives. First Peter 2:24 explains, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
