Self-Defense

Romans 12:17, "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men." So, if someone name calls, for example, we shouldn't make fun of them in return. It's best to quietly leave, but what if the person grabs or starts pushing you while you're trying to leave? Self-defense can be used. Another example of self defense that seems to be legal in SC and WV is if you feel threatened when someone hostilely approaches, even if they don't touch you. The Bible allows self-defense too (Luke 22:36-38).
