The Motivation
Galatians 6:9 gives great motivation for Christians who worry they are wasting their time trying to serve the Lord and make peoples' lives better, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
Christians who do things to help others (For examples, see chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) should have faith and believe that there will be good results in the lives of those they have served. After they serve, they need to believe that Galatians 6:9 will be the result.
The last part of this verse - (if we faint not) is especially important. Those (who have made decisions to become Christians) who quit doing things to help others because they think their efforts haven't been effective, are making a big mistake.
