In continuation of the previous messages, people may claim that since people who are really Christians are chosen by God, they only need to pray or make decisions to become Christians one time, but from my experience, many people who realize they aren't Christians and pray or make decisions to become Christians again become Christians the second or several times around.
There has to be a definitive time when someone becomes a Christian (born again - John 3:1-15), even though they are chosen by God to be a Christian. With the exception of children and people under the age of accountability, everyone chosen will pray or make decisions to become Christians. It's very possible for those chosen not to become Christians the first time they pray or make decisions to do so, but when they do it again, they have major changes in the way they live that they didn't display the first time, because they really became Christians; 2 Corinthians 5:17 explains, "17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
