Christians Have The Advantage

When it comes to having a future home in heaven and the fact that salvation can't be lost, Christians have the advantage over non-Christians.

1 John 5:18-19

18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. (Christians don't continue to sin on purpose, because they aren't able. This happens because the Holy Spirit lives inside them, and the Lord holds them securely, which means they don't lose their salvation (that wicked one toucheth him not).) 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (Those who aren't Christians aren't able to resist a lot of temptation to sin, because they don't have the Holy Spirit living inside them. Christians gain assurance of their salvation because they are able resist temptations to say, think, do, and desire things that don't involve God more and more over time. For examples of what to avoid saying, thinking, doing, and desiring, see chapters 18 and 35 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com)
