The Same Righteousness​​​

Several days ago, I celebrated my 33rd birthday, and I can't help thinking that Jesus was 33 when He went back to heaven. My hero and I may share the number of years lived on earth, but I, like everyone else, don't stand on the same level.

Surprisingly, the Bible informs us that when we become Christians, we obtain the same righteousness as Jesus. Second Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." It's extremely exciting to know that we, sinners, can have Jesus' righteousness, who was and is perfect.
