No Haters

First John 3:14 says, "We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death." If you've made a decision to accept Jesus as your Savior, but you hate others, that's not good. It's possible for a Christian to temporary have hatred toward someone by greatly disliking them, hoping bad things will happen to them, and planning ways to be rude and mistreat them, etc. Although, the difference is that the Christian will feel bad about those things and try not to let those things happen again (Hebrews 12:4-13).

Some Christians struggle with this because they don't want to live that way. If this describes you, whenever you are tempted to fall into hatred, immediately think of Jesus. Just like some phone calls go strait to voice mail, send those thoughts to voice mail and let Jesus handle the call for you. After this, carry on with doing God's will.
