Precious, Powerful Blood

My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.

The most powerful thing in the universe is the blood Jesus shed on the cross. It alerts us to avoid spending time with sinful things, which gives us time to live the Christian lifestyle. (Hebrews 9:13-14 - 13For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?) So, if trusting Jesus’ blood to erase our sins (Romans 3:25 - Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;) solves everything, why did Paul go throughout Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, telling them to repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance (Acts 26:20)? Jesus’ blood applied to our hearts accomplishes a lot (Hebrews 9:13-14), but if the soil of our hearts aren’t prepared to receive it, it doesn’t work (the Parable of the Sower - Matthew 13:18-23). Having the desire to no longer sin on purpose and help people (repent) before we trust Jesus’ blood to erase our sins, prepares our hearts.
