For Wednesday evening services, the Lord has lead me to do a Bible study for practical Bible verses in Matthew. Please come back to these Bible lessons in order to review them and learn them. Whenever we have learned the meaning of Bible verses and think about them throughout each day, we will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Not only that, but when we are in a situation in our daily lives and are tempted to sin, we can think back to what we have learned from the Bible and say to ourselves, "The Bible says to not do what I am tempted to say, think, do, and/or desire right now, so I am going to refuse to give in to this temptation." This is what Romans 12:2 means, and it says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This is also the pattern that Jesus used when the devil tempted Him to sin in Matthew 4:1-11.

Chapter 12

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW

Matthew 12:33-37 -

33Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. (There are two types of people - those who are Christians and bear good fruit (These are things such as (becoming more holy in the way they live (They live a set-apart lifestyle like the one described in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) (Romans 6:22); sharing their material possessions (Romans 15:28), having Jesus' character traits (Galatians 5:22–23) (explained in chapter 21 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com), praising the Lord (Hebrews 13:15), answered prayer (1 John 5:14–15), and doing good works (Colossians 1:10)).  and those who are not Christians and bear bad fruit (These are the lust of the flesh (committing sins (see chapters 18 and 35 of this book), spending your time, other than work or school, etc., thoughts, conversations with people who will listen (Deuteronomy 6:7), the way you handle your money (explained in chapter 19 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com), physical safety (Matthew 10:28), what you watch and listen to (explained in chapter 23 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com), your plans for each day, and future goals on what you want instead of what God wants), and the lust of the eyes (wanting everything you see), and the pride of life (thinking you’re excellent in many ways. For example, you may think that your mind, body, possessions, accomplishments, job, country, and church are much better than others.) 34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (People who aren't Christians don't talk like people who are Christians (see chapter 13 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) 35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (The way someone talks reveals what kind of heart they have.) 36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

In conclusion, if you have prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, but you argue, complain, lie, mislead others to get them to believe what is false or get them not to believe what is true, talk rude, scream at people, belittle others with your words, say bad things to people and bad things about people, talk perverted, try to intimidate or impress others with your words so they will admire you and not God, etc., please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/makingsure
