Understanding Lust

My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.

Matthew 5:27-28, "27Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Adultery is themed around marriage, and it means having sexual relations with someone's spouse. Obviously, physically committing adultery is sinful, but we also shouldn't lust after (want to) have sexual relations with someone's spouse. Simply understanding that marriage is between one male and female and nobody else, should help us not to get sidetracked into wrong thinking and desires.
