What Repentance Is And What It Isn't
Many people think that if they want to become a Christian, they need to fix their sinful ways before they pray or make a descision to become a Christian. They say things such as, "I need to stop getting drunk, arguing, being jealous, and losing my temper."
The problem is, if they wait until they stop all their sinful ways, they'll never live long enough to accomplish that. It's impossible to fix every area of our llives by our own power; we need to depend on another power. For an extra note, Christians aren't able to live a perfect lifestyle like Jesus did, but tthey should improve more and more over time.
