For Wednesday evening services, the Lord has lead me to do a Bible study for practical Bible verses in Luke. Please come back to these Bible lessons in order to review them and learn them. Whenever we have learned the meaning of Bible verses and think about them throughout each day, we will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Not only that, but when we are in a situation in our daily lives and are tempted to sin, we can think back to what we have learned from the Bible and say to ourselves, "The Bible says to not do what I am tempted to say, think, do, and/or desire right now, so I am going to refuse to give in to this temptation." This is what Romans 12:2 means, and it says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This is also the pattern that Jesus used when the devil tempted Him to sin in Matthew 4:1-11.

Luke 19:11-24

11And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. 14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 15And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. (God doesn't give every Christian the same ability to reach many in order to lead them to Jesus, teach them how to live the Christian lifestyle, minister to their physical and mental needs, and give them the same amount of money in order to meet people's financial needs, but He expects every Christian to do their best with the abilities He gives them. When this happens, they will have great success in leading people to Jesus, teaching how to live the Christian lifestyle, helping physical and mental needs, and helping people financially, etc. (Matthew 25:20).) 18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. (This is the same scenario as the previous example, but God didn't expect for this person to help as many people. This person did, however, do their best with the ability and resources God gave them, and that's what is important.) 20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. (No matter the excuse, Christians should try to help others when the Lord gives them opportunities.) 22And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? 24And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. (Like this servant, when Christians fail to serve when given the opportunity, ability, and resources but fail to do so, the Lord can take away their opportunity and give it to someone else.)

If you have prayed or made decisions to become Christians, but you don't know you are really going to heaven (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 21:18-22, 1 John 5:14, and Hebrews 11:1). If this describes you please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven
