For Wednesday evening services, the Lord has lead me to do a Bible study for practical Bible verses in Luke. Please come back to these Bible lessons in order to review them and learn them. Whenever we have learned the meaning of Bible verses and think about them throughout each day, we will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Not only that, but when we are in a situation in our daily lives and are tempted to sin, we can think back to what we have learned from the Bible and say to ourselves, "The Bible says to not do what I am tempted to say, think, do, and/or desire right now, so I am going to refuse to give in to this temptation." This is what Romans 12:2 means, and it says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This is also the pattern that Jesus used when the devil tempted Him to sin in Matthew 4:1-11.

Luke 18:35-43

35And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:36And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. (The blind man believed that Jesus was the Messiah, and he proved it when he called Jesus the Son of David. He understood from prophecy that the Messiah would come though King David's family line.)  39And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. (Nobody or anything should stop us from persuing Jesus. If you have prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, but you have given in to peer pressure that encouraged you to not serve others or have a less passionate walk with Jesus, please follow chapter 10 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) 40And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. (He was healed because he believed that Jesus would heal him.) 43And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. (True Christians follow Jesus, but that doesn't always mean leaving everything and everyone behind. See chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com  for an example of how to follow Jesus. When the people saw him follow Jesus and praise God (These are the results of someone who has become a Christian. For more information, see chapter 21 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com), they, in turn, praised God.)

If you have prayed or made decisions to become Christians, but you don't know you are really going to heaven (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 21:18-22, 1 John 5:14, and Hebrews 11:1). If this describes you please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven
