Opening Prayer - Heavenly Father, we thank you for the oppertunity to worship your Son this morning. We know that if He hadn't died on the cross for our sins and arose from the dead, we would have no way to have a future home in Heaven or the privilage of worshiping Him this morning. Please bless us indeed and give us the strength and wisdom to live the way the Bible says we should live. We pray that everyone who reads this sermon who are not saved will become saved before it is too late. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

God Will Bring You Through It

There is a very good saying, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." If you are a Christian, your soul belongs to Jesus. Although, your mind, body, and possessions are definitely not safe.

Christians go to heaven, but their time on the earth is usually very rough because the devil trys to make their lives misreable. He does this because he is mad they are going to heaven, and he doesn't want them influencing others to become Christians by imitating Jesus' lifestyle when He was on the earth. But remember, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." It may seem like your world is falling apart, but know that when things are getting out of control (problems with your family, job, friends, church, financial situations, physical and mental health, etc.), God will keep His promise and can show you how to get through it and give you the strength and courage needed to get through it.

Not only is it comforting to know that you will get through trials if you are a Christian, but it is also the perfect oppertunity to see if you are really a Christian. Check out these verses:

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing" (James 1:2–4).

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved" (Matthew 10:22).

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us" (1 John 2:19).

If you profess to be a Christian, but you quit living the Christian life (see this website  - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/chap39) because you experienced a trial or several trials, please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/makingsure

If you’re in a situation and don’t know what decision to make, you should ask God to give you wisdom so you will make the right choice (James 1:5), and believe that He will answer that prayer. While you’re patiently (try not to be irritable, mad, flustered, or depressed) waiting for God to lead you in the right directions, you should focus on living the Christian life (see this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/chap39). Also while you are going through trials, Psalm 71:14-24 gives very good insight to help you.

If you have never prayed or made a decision to trust Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase your sins and let you into Heaven, you must be willing to repent "from this moment on and for the rest of your life" before you trust Jesus to save you. This website will tell you how - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven

If you have prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, but you are not sure that you are really a Christian (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 21:18-22, 1 John 5:14, and Hebrews 11:1), you need to be sure - please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven
