Thankful For Trials 2

My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.

Another reason Christians can thank God for trials (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) is because He promises something good will come out of them for their benefit. (Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.")

Although, many people accept Jesus as their Savior, but years down the road, they prove that they don't really love God because they hate other people (1 John 4:20-21, "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.") and aren't fulfilling their purpose, which is to imitate Jesus (Romans 8:29). (Chapter 39 of the pdf file book featured at this website - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com gives an example of this.) So, those aren't good signs.
