Prayer Cloth

My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.

When I was learning the Bible, it seems people were against prayer cloths. I accepted their view, but after hearing testimonies about them, I became a fan.

In the New Testament, they were used as a point of contact, as they are in our day and time. Christians who are given the ability to heal and cast out demons can't always be present in order to lay their hands on those who are afflicted in such ways; this is where prayer cloths come in handy. Acts 19:11-12 records, "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them." God was working these miracles, and they would happen when Paul laid his hands on and prayed for those who were afflicted. However, Paul couldn't be everywhere at one time. So, cloths that Paul had laid his hands on and prayed over were given to the people who had diseases and were demon possessed, and they received the same healing as if Paul was there praying for and laying his hands on them when they placed the cloths on themselves.

Just like in Paul's day, people are healed when they place cloths on themselves that Christians with the gifts of healing lay their hands on and pray over. Miracles still happen; I've witnessed them. If you know someone who could use a pray cloth, and you understand how effective they can be, please hold a piece of cloth and ask and believe that God will heal the person who comes in contact with it.
