Is It Impossible?

There are some hard verses in the Bible. For example, 1 John 2:6 says, " He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." This means Christians are supposed to walk as Jesus walked. This seems impossible, because John 21:25 says, "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."

Although, we aren't able to do this, because God has planned for certain Christians to do more for Him than others (2 Corinthians 5:18). This was the case with the man who has delivered from many demons and wanted to leave everything behind and go with Jesus, but Jesus wanted him to return to his friends and tell them what great things the Lord did for him and had compassion on him (Mark 5:1-20).

To go back to 2 Corinthians 5:18, Christians should know what good works God has planned for them to do, because the Spirit of God will urge and give them thoughts to do things such as witness, give helpful advice, visit someone in the hospital, etc. To compare the man in Mark 5:1-20 to Peter, James, and John, God hasn't planned for every Christian to do the same amount of good works. However, we can follow Jesus' pattern (1 John 2:6), but it is helpful to have a game plan -
Chapter 39 of the pdf file book featured at this website - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com does this. The Christian lifestyle is tough, but having a game plan makes it a lot easier.

If you have asked Jesus into your heart, believed that Jesus is your Savior, or trusted Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase your sins and let you into heaven, etc., but you have not been living the type of lifestyle described in chapter 39 of the pdf file book featured at this website - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/makingsure
