For Sunday evening services, the Lord has lead me to do a Bible study for practical Bible verses in John. Please come back to these Bible lessons in order to review them and learn them. Whenever we have learned the meaning of Bible verses and think about them throughout each day, we will be in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Not only that, but when we are in a situation in our daily lives and are tempted to sin, we can think back to what we have learned from the Bible and say to ourselves, "The Bible says not to do what I am tempted to say, think, do, and/or desire right now, so I am going to refuse to give in to this temptation." This is what Romans 12:2 means, and it says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This is also the pattern that Jesus used when the devil tempted Him to sin in Matthew 4:1-11.

Chapter 15

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN

My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.

John 15:7-11

7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (If someone has accepted Jesus as their Savior, and as a result, lives a lifestyle similar to the one explained in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com (abides in Jesus and His words abide in them), God will answer their prayers for things according to His will (someone to be healed, provided for, etc. - 1 John 5:14), if they believe He will do those things (James 1:5-8).) 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. (Professing Christians have one way to gain assurance of their salvation if they bear much fruit (do the type of things mentioned in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love (continue in Jesus' love); even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (A Christian abides in Jesus' love if they keep Jesus' commandments in the Bible. This is a way to have assurance of their salvation.) 11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (Christians who live this way should be relieved and happy, no matter had bad things are going on in their lives (John 14:27).)
