In continuation of the previous messages, Romans 9:22-24 asks, "22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?"
Even though God is patient with those who are predestined for hell, He has the right to, all of a sudden, have things in their lives fall apart, and He has the right to bless the lives of people He choses to be Christians. He carries out this contrast so people can witness the greatness of His glory and know that His power causes this to happen.
