Don't Waste Your Time

Many people pray or make descions to become Christians so they won't go to hell when they leave this world, but they aren't interested in becoming a new person with a new lifestyle that consists of following Jesus. (This lifestlyle is described in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com)

These people may say, "I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins so I can go to heaven. so what does the way I live have anything to do with me going to heaven?" For someone to come to this conclusion, the pastor, who failed to mention anything about repentance and discipleship, could be to blame. (For information on this, see chapters 1, 2, and 4-9 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) Or, the pastor could have explained salvation correctly, but the person could have had selective hearing.

According to Jesus in Matthew 10:38 (And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.), those who refuse to identify with Jesus everywhere they go and refuse to live the Christian lifestyle, aren't worthy to belong to Jesus.

In other words, someone can pray or make a descion to become a Christian so they can go to heaven, but if they know that they won't begin to follow Jesus (This lifestlyle is described in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) after they pray or make a descion to become a Christian, they are wasting their time. They aren't worthy to belong to Jesus (Matthew 10:38).

If you have asked Jesus into your heart, believed that Jesus is your Savior, or trusted Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase your sins and let you into heaven, etc., but you have not been living the way chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com describes, please follow chapter 10 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com

If you have not prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, please follow chapter 41 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com

If you have prayed or made a decision to become a Christian, but you are not sure you are really a Christian (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 21:18-22, 1 John 5:14, and Hebrews 11:1), please follow this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven
