In continuation of the previous six messages, it's hard to ignore that money causes jealously. First Timothy 6:9-10 shares, "9But they that will be rich (This means want to be rich.) fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. (Because the professing Christians that have been covered in these messages are jealous and want more money than the people they are jealous of, they resort to childish insults and behavior. The result is that these professing Christians go to hell when they die. Their unbroken behavior proves that they were never Christians in the first place.) 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Their desire to have more than the people they are jealous of, causes hatred, gossip, and all other sinful behavior. Truly, the love of money is the root of all evil.
