My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which

words are italicized.

In continuation of the previous messages, and in keeping with the Christmas theme, Matthew 1:21 tells us, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Notice that it doesn't say that Jesus will be Savior to the entire world, but only to His people. John 6:37-40 explains, "37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Notice how John 6:37 and 39 relate to Matthew 1:21; the people Jesus will save are His people (the people God gave Him/those God chose to be Christians). Also, when taken into context, John 6:40 doesn't  mean that everyone who believes on Jesus will go to heaven; only those chosen by God , who will ultimately believe that Jesus is their Savior, will go to heaven (not including those under the age of accountability).
