In continuation of the previous messages, the reason God chose some people to be Christians is explained in Romans 8:29, "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." When someone becomes a Christian, their actions and character will become more and more like Jesus' were when He was on the earth. So, not only are they innocent in the eyes of God like Jesus was (Ephesians 5:25-27), they begin to imitate their big brother.
