Opening Prayer - Heavenly Father we thank You for this oppertunity to worship You and study Your Word. We're eternally thankful for Your Son who came into this world to give His life for us on the cross so that we would have an oppertunity to not only go to Heaven, but that we would have the power and ability to obey Your commandments. We pray that everyone who reads or listens to these sermons who are not saved will become saved. We're eternally thankful for this ministry, and we pray that we can share these websites with others and many people can begin to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. For our second sermon in this series for Sunday evenings, we ask that You will help us to stop committing these sins and help us to be sure we are really going to Heaven. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

COMMANDMENTS THAT CAN’T BE IGNORED

Jesus said in John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." There’s nobody in Heaven who doesn’t love Jesus, so that verse means that if you are saved, you will keep Jesus’ commandments the best that you can.

There are many examples of sins to avoid in the Bible -

1 Timothy 1:9–10 says, "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless (does not follow the law) and disobedient (someone who doesn't obey what is commanded in the Bible, someone who doesn't obey the law, and children not obeying their parents when they are told what to do or not to do), for the ungodly (not fearing or worshiping God and breaking His commandments, someone who gives up living the Christian life because of trials (patience) and too much entertainment, lust, anger, over eating, and other things that are in excess (temperance); someone who makes the wrong decisions because of the threat of suffering and trials, and someone who doesn't imitate Jesus.) and for sinners (people who haven't trusted Jesus' death on the cross and His shed blood to erase their sins and let them into Heaven one day and believed that He arose from the dead, and as a result, they try to imitate Jesus as long as they are alive.), for unholy (someone who doesn't give up what they want to do and think about and spend their time and thoughts on what God wants them to do and think about) and profane (someone who abuses things that are holy and disrespects God), for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers (killing someone), For whoremongers (someone who has sexual relations with a prostitute and/or associates financially with a prostitute), for them that defile themselves with mankind (someone who spends time with sinful people and begins living like them), for menstealers (stealing from others), for liars, for perjured persons (someone who lies while under oath), and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine."

If you have never prayed or made a decision to trust Jesus’ death on the cross and His shed blood to erase your sins and let you into Heaven,  please go to this website - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven

The Bible teaches that if someone claims to be a Christian and continually commits the sins that were just listed (or any other sins) on purpose, and they don’t feel sorry and/or try to not do them again, that person is not a Christian. A Christian can and will very likely commit some of these sins repeatedly, but that Christian will feel really bad about it and will ask God to forgive them and try their best, with the Holy Spirit’s help, to not do them again.

If you continually commit sins on purpose, and you aren't bothered and upset because of it (Hebrews 12:5–11), then you need to pray or make a decision again to become saved. Please follow this website to become saved - http://chriswaug5.wix.com/howtogotoheaven

(If you have prayed or made a decision to trust Jesus’ death on the cross and His shed blood to erase your sins and let you into Heaven, but you commit the sins that were mentioned in Galatians 5:19-21, ask God to forgive you. Then, “from this moment on”, try your absolute best (explained in Revelation 3:19) to not commit these sins again, with God helping you change.)

If in the future you haven’t tried your absolute best to live this way, then ask God to forgive you. After that, “from this moment on” try your absolute best (explained in Revelation 3:19) to begin living this way again, with God helping you change (Continue to follow this pattern every time you fail to live this way.).
