Is Salvation Ever Really Lost?
My copy and paste feature doesn't keep the words that are supposed to be italicized, so instead of me doing it manually, refer to a Bible to see which words are italicized.
People who claim that a Christian can lose their salvation if they give up living the Christian lifestyle seem to have a valid point, because Matthew 24:12-13 says, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Due to wide-spread sin, many will turn from living for the Lord (a lifestyle similar to the one explained in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
Although, 1 John 2:19-20 reveals, "19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. (Those who have prayed or made decisions to become Christians but quit living the Christian lifestyle and never return to that lifestyle, prove that they never were really Christians.) 20But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (True Christians don't leave the Christian faith and never return, because God gives them His Spirit once they become Christians.)
