Insecurity can lead to some trouble. It causes lying, bragging, trying to make people jealous and feel bad about themselves, etc. Before things get out of hand, we need to crucify the flesh, (Galatians 6:8; Romans 8:5) in this case insecurity, by asking God to remove it from us and trust that He will do that. In the future, when we're tempted to act out our insecurity, we need to follow James 4:7-8 that says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. (Immediately, allow Him to take back His control over your life.) Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (Tell Satan to leave.) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you (Begin doing things like studying the Bible, thinking about what you studied, praying, talking about the Bible with people who will listen, and telling people how to become Christians and/or doing other things to help those who have needs.)…”
