In order to continue the series of messages on Billy Graham, I have several of his books, and for a time, I was confused by words similar to, "You've accepted Jesus as your Savior, but have you committed and surrendered your life to Him?"
Those words left me intimidated and frightened, but the Lord helped me eventually understand that He was implying that someone can believe that Jesus is their Savior, but if they aren't consciously or unconsciously willing for Him to become their Lord (be willing to give up their old lifestyle and begin to live the way Jesus wants them to live - a lifestyle similar to the one explained in chapter 39 of this book - www.areyousureyouaresaved.com) after they pray to accept Jesus as their Savior, that person doesn't become a Christian.
